Quran Atlas is developed by Marsa Digital. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Data We Collect
We do not collect any personal information. Quran Atlas does not require an account, login, or any personally identifiable information to use.
All data you create in the app — topics, verses, notes, bookmarks, and voice memos — is stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, this data is synced to your personal iCloud account and is never accessible to us.
Data Storage
Your content is stored in two places:
On your device: All topics, notes, bookmarks, and settings are saved locally using your device's storage.
iCloud (optional): If you enable iCloud sync in Settings, your data is backed up to your personal Apple iCloud account. This is governed by Apple's privacy policy and is not accessible to Marsa Digital.
Topic Sharing
When you share a topic using the Share feature, the topic data is encoded into a link that you choose to share. The recipient receives only the data you explicitly chose to share. No data passes through our servers — sharing is entirely peer-to-peer via the link.
Quran Content
The Quran text, translations, and Tafsir content are downloaded from public third-party APIs on first launch. We do not log or store any information about which verses you read or search for.
Analytics & Tracking
Quran Atlas does not use any analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs. We do not track your usage, share data with third parties, or display ads.
Children's Privacy
Quran Atlas does not collect any personal data from users of any age. The app is safe for all ages.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this privacy policy, we will post the updated version here with a new date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
